Well so far i have done the following. custom enlarged main inlet, severly ported fuel passages, trimmed a little from the vanes to allow the vane pump to move more fuel, 4mm camplate with a 4.5 in the works. 14mm h&r, cut delivery valves with very large military pump ones in the works. also i am testing through a set of 6x24 dual feeds from a friends pullin truck project. I am currently movin 520cc but thats with a high inlet pressure and i have not devised a way to keep the front shaft seal in for very long. As soon as i figure that part out i will be installin this thing on my truck and seein what it can do besides blow up.

stupid question, but with all the machine work goin on why not groove the housing and the shaft for an O - ring or if there is room two spaced O-rings

If memory serves from other engineered pressure systems I have researched over the years, there are some purdy neat O-rings out there today that withstand a lot of heat and pressure

Heck even a seal for a hydraulic cylinder would probably work

I would bet the small groove required would not affect either the housing or the shaft

Actually it is regulated, you could keep the pressure down to maybe.........2000 psi........Na that wouldn't work......beside you would have to remove your vac pump and then do some mod's to the gear to make it fit.

Just having fun there. But go me a thinking,.............Why not put a crank pulley type fuel pump on it. The ones they us on alcohol fuel injection.........I think they call it the "flying toilet"(not a joke here, I'm serious, that's what they call it) the size of the pulley could decide how much pressure/volume you got at idle. pressure and volume could be calibrated and a pressure reg to relieve excess pressure back to the tank.
Maybe your electrics would still be more feasible. But that's what this thread is all about, throwing ideas out there Right!

I don't remember who make it but its called the flying toilet!

OK I found a link! Enjoy!
