Nice. That's the same arrangement ptoombs built on his.

I went for the long hot pipe, side by side arrangement.

Got my s400 compressor outlet flange and am not to pleased about the quality.

I am going to fix that after I get all the piping done but for now it works for mock up.

Most of the fittings came in for my drains. Now waiting on feed lines the fittings to go with the lines.

Ordering an Autometer sport comp 2 because they don't make a sport comp in anything higher than 35psi. 100psi gauge should be plenty? I have the hole in the manifold for a drive pressure gauge that's plugged right now, is a drive pressure gauge life and death for tuning right off the bat?

Is it worth it for me to open up the waste gate holes at all? there is about an 1/8" of cleaner metal all the way around the flap.

That stainless looks awesome! Better than the exhaust pipe I used. I drilled the wastegate in my small turbo out to 3/4", and I drilled the divider too. I had a brand new 12cm housing also.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I took off the cover for the gate and there are two flappers. Whats the divider you're talking about?

He's talking about a holset turbo which has 1 flapper only on one side. Drilling the divider allows it it gate both sides. The Borg Warner turbo you have is pretty different

Here's my wh1c turbine housing. I gasket matched it, drilled the divider to 1/2", and opened up the wastegate port to about 1"

Living close to Summit is very nice, I ordered some parts last night and they showed up this afternoon. Got a good amount of work done on the truck today.

Downpipe has very little clearance.

I am thinking of making a spring gate for the super B because the diaphragm actuator hits the oil feed line.
Still need to make a mount for the s400, figure out my oil drains, finish the downpipe and figure something out for the intake.
Planning on wrapping the downpipe being so close to the elbow on the charge pipe and the heater box.

Looking good. The most progress I've made with mine is sandblasting, and slightly polishing the turbine housing on my 467. The idea is to remove the bumps, so the high temp paint I'm going to hit it with will stay (I didn't get it all done as I ran out of air, and the compressor wasn't kicking on). I'm going to make an effort to get my downpipe done tomorrow. Then it's just cleaning up welds, painting, header wrap, and she's all done. I have vht 2000* header paint for the hot stuff, and duplicolor metalcast for the cold side

Well got it running Saturday and took her for a spin. Still breaking the clutch in, however I saw 30 psi total and 10 from the primary on a slight pull. Currently running a spring waste gate, truck idles a little white and smells like raw fuel until it's warm then it clears up for the most part. I've noticed that it doesn't smoke a black death cloud rather a lighter more gray cloud.

Took a dead blow to the down pipe to clear the intake boot. 50' of heat wrap with about a 50% overlap.

A couple things:

I didn't see it but what is supporting the weight of the S400?

Loosen up the spring gate some. You are driving the secondary at 3:1 ratio. You'll get more pull is you drive the big one sooner.

I made a mount off the block where the engine mount is that comes up and ties into the lower two holes of the flange.

On the WG it is loose enough to move by hand, I can take some tension out of it. I got the spring from a local bolt place and they didn't have and pound ratings for the spring. How stiff of springs are people using when going the spring gate route? From the pictures I've seen online it's either a beefy looking spring or a chincy one.

I've been pretty good to not romp on the truck much and the clutch is almost broke in so last night I got on her pretty good and blew a charge pipe boot. Fixed that and did a 33rd gear pull out of a sharp corner and saw 23ish psi from the primary and about 40 total. I have been messing with the waste gate to the point of no spring tension and I didn't see any change. I will say that the truck moves with out effort and once it's dialed in should be quite quick.

I havent been driving the tuck much, but I did manage to get it tuned fairly good and it makes about 50-55psi now. However in 5th WOT my EGT's are a bit on the warm side and even cruising they seem to fluctuate a fair amount.I am toying with the idea of water meth to maybe help cool it down a little bit.
