modifying a downpipe

Postby GO OVRIT » Thu Dec 20, 2007 6:13 pm

I just got an hx-40....well its in the mail. My downpipe is 4" and necks down about an inch from the turbo. Is this the right style flange for the hx-40? http://store.airflo.com/88-415.html Thanks, Mike

Negative, you won't get off that cheap, look here for the 6CT hx40 weld flange: http://store.airflo.com/ad411.html -$61. Wait til you get your hx40 to see what flange you get, could be the flat flange shown above or the beveled/ or I think it might be called 'marmon' flange.

Well, I reckon its still a lot cheaper than a new down pipe. I'm glad you posted so quick....I almost went ahead and bought it. I guess I'll wait and see.
