I run a set of Eric's 6x13. They're pretty awesome in my opinion. I was a bit skeptical about the honing at first, but they make more and cleaner power than a set of 5x18 I also ran.

Great info. So there are 7 holes in correct spray angle now? Not the denso 158?

Fine, I haven't had enough drive and tuning time in order to get things where I wan them yet.

In some cases, it seems some power can be lost when going too large with an injector.

Is this because an .018 orifice (for example) doesn't have enough umph behind it from the VE to atomize properly? I realize there are a lot of other variables.

In a world where $ is no object, could one have a certain twins setup that could make better use of an overly large injector? Roughly how many lpm is a common max before no more gains from a VE can be seen?

Look at David's setup.....that's a perfect example of a setup that can utilize huge sticks

That was my goal with my compound setup. Have a secondary that lights very quickly, and a primary that comes on as quickly as possible too. I'm close to what I wanted, but with the undivided spacer, and drilled divider I lost more bottom end than I wanted. When I replace the secondaries turbine housing I'm not going to drill the divider, and I'll switch to a divided spacer, so I can get some spoolup back.

And hopefully while I'm at school this time I'll be able to make use of the pop testers they have, and get my 5x16's from Eric swapped onto 1st gen bodies. I'd also like to work over one of my spare 12v heads, and put that on along with putting my 188/220 cam in (I sure have a lot of things I want to do that I can't afford to do right now)

What kind of dyno #'s are people making with a 6x13 injector and enough air?

Bosch 6x13 400-425 or so. With our competition (6x13 that are then honed), we have quite a few guys in the high 440-450 range.

BTW......seems I don't get any email notifications from the site anymore. Whether it be Pm, or from a thread.

Pin, timing spacer, and gov spring are about the only things we can do with these pumps, so yeah fairly stock pump.

62fmw, and 62sx-e are popular since they flow a lot more than a he351.
