he351ve over he551ve!!

So I found a guy who builds standalone controllers for vet turbos (really good ones in-fact) and he has come up with the idea of running a set of compounds with an he351ve and an he551ve how do you think these turbo would perform? would they even come close to a s300/s400 setup? another thing he mentioned was they would be great for competition because on start up with low compression motors the exhaust breaks are engaged on both turbos to help create more pressure until the engine reaches 400 rpm. seemed like a pretty cool idea to me but was just curious as to if these turbos would work well together in a compound set up of if they would just be a waste of time and money because it definitely would be a costly set up! oh and one final question if i were to attempt this wheres a good place to go for piping? I wonder if any pieces from other kits would transfer over. don't know a whole lot about these turbos especially the he551.

Have you checked out Swank's 451ve over 551ve build on page 2 of the Good Stuff?
