Is that why the rockentechs don't live? Or is it tolerances?
1992 W250, 5 speed, 4.10, Ext. cab Ext. bed, 12.5k winch, 75 gal. fuel tank

H1C/18

Fuel: THD 6x10 VCO sticks, THD 12 psi piston pump, THD fuel pin, 366 spring, fuel screw 2 turns in, timing to the head/ >1/4”
Muffler delete

Minimum 60% WMO full time since Sep. 2018

I would assume it has something to do with both.
89 RC on shortened 92 diesel frame - NV4500 w/dual disc/4.10s on 37s. - Self built pump, "hot screw", lots of timing, True high volume low pressure lift pump, 62fmw/68/.7gated, 77lpm SAC Inj., Studs/O-rings,- 423/1220 Mustang - 11/16/2013 http://www.TheHungryDiesel.com full line dealer, if you don't see it please ask.

There's actually a number of Rocken Tech's that have lived.....there's even a few non-Internet guys running 'em here in California, but they're turned down.
1989 D250 2wd. Scheid 14mm VE pump and 5x25's, J&H Performance 47RH trans with Suncoast manual valvebody, dual wastegates, 62/65/14 S300, NX Dual Stage nitrous, 487 on fuel, 972 on the jug.

So something like 50 psi inlet pressure and the screw hanging out of the pump? :lol:

I love my ve pump but if crazy horsepower is your game the p pump is a much more reliable solution and isn't reliability why we love these old engines.

The Rocken works fine if you feed it like Brian said to, back in the day.
'03 2500: utility body stock; '92 350 flatbed: maxed fuel, 354 spring, 6x.016's, 14mm H/R, 2.8plate, studs, springs, A1000 5/8 line, Super40 = 454hp 1080tq all fuel. Have added S3 66/74/.91, O-rings, home port job, Steedspeed t-4 manifold. Hp=437/857 :( 13mm P, 5x.025, he551+ht80 843hp 1thousand something trq. Broken 5th gear.
