Brian said it took forever to get rid of the last set he had made. Limited market and crazy tight tolerances means spending a lot of money and it taking forever to get it back, if ever. Even the 14mm heads Brian had made were kind of hit or miss when it came to holding together for most people. Read the threads from back in the day....

I'm a VE guy as much as the next guy, but if I ever want more power than a 12mm ve can make I'll get a p pump. A hot 12mm setup in a light 1stgen can surprise most people and can be very reliable. If you try one, you may not want a 14mm setup anymore.

Where would one start with this far fetched notion?

Not real savvy from a technological standpoint other than google and 1stgenny.org.......but I can learn

Just read your post AHineman, and I do agree. Everyone still has the inkling though...........it really doesn't make sense to shoot for something with odds this poor

But that's why we're still talking about it 10 years after the subject started right?

I'll run over to Walmart and grab a Dremel tonight.

I'll let everyone know when the first one is ready to ship out. 8)

If I could get could get a hold of a kta rotor for dimensions or a set of drawings for one they could be built. It'll be around $1200-$1500 bucks for one but less per demand.

The important thing lies in this though........... what material? How would it be hardened? Hardening process, etc..... can make or break a perfectly machined part.
