I hate you.
I don't know why it gets such bad mileage, in the summer the best I have ever gotten was 16mpg. It has been like that ever since I got it. I had the injectors flow honed, cleaned and set and thought that would help, then replaced the IC and thought that would help, nothing. The timing is at 18*, now I'm wondering if that's too high for the driving I do.

And yes, I do drive it hard. Sometimes. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

He also has a u-tube channel under the title of "Turbo Lab America". I have not used his parts still working on the "turn and stop" stuff on my truck before I need to go faster or haul bigger

My DD, '98.5 24V ECSB RWD auto with the '95 12V engine gets 20mpg as regular as clock work. Timing at 16.5*, 181 DV's, some pretty big injectors (Diesel Dynamics Stage III. Don't know what size they are since DD is gone. I think their Stage II's were @ the same as 370's.), HE351CW. When the engine was in the '95 with the NV4500 I worked @ 50 miles from home with a lot of 50mph steady cruising and I got 25mpg quite a few fill ups.
