It's really because your so tight you squeek when you walk.

I have been reading that the china turbo's are a lot better than when they first came out.

Day3.....So far I'm not regretting the purchase or the machining of my 12cm exhaust housing. Over 200 miles and it sounds like a jet creeping down main street with the windows down. Spool time with this automatic trans is almost nothing, you can goose the throttle in neutral and get 4/5# easy.
The whole reason I'm fooling with this china brand turbo is because of all the hate they seem to get on the internet.....may of which are ancient.
We'll see....one way or another.

That sounds encouraging. Considering you have it on a 24V, I'd be curious how it would do on a 12V. Ignore the squeaking noise, it's the rusty gears in my head turning.
RIP 91.5 W250 5 speed. The great experiment.

Consider this.....for 250$,it's not a bad deal. The fit and construction looks and feels great......no less cheap looking than some of the supposedly quality reman stuff I've looked at and installed. The compressor wheel looks better on it than the GDS 60 wheel I bought for the dodge lol
I gave 550$ (Traded out valve for value) for an actual hx40,used.

Nearly 600 miles, not the first issue. I've eased up on it tho. The fuel money is no going far enough lol
I'll post a link to the one I bought.

Yes......lol,at very least I drive over 50 miles a day, that's just from the house to the shop and back.
Remps wrote:Why no boost #'s yet, no boost gauge?

Just driving normal,20# tops
Beating on it,I've seen nearly 50.......I like the head gasket intact,so I try hard not to do that.
It lights off pretty quickly,it's probably the one thing I haven't really paid much attention to.....at what rpm it's pushing boost.
