A full days work and some help from my buddies. . . . . and my 5" blackies are on!!! Sounds great. Loud but with all the windows shut its actually a little quieter than before. The smoke is pretty close to even. A couple of videos at the bottom too.

Eeeewwww! Straight cuts!

;)

Really, they look good! Sound good too! I think they should have been about 2-3 inches longer, so they are just above the rack, but that's me! ;)
I see in the video they smoke uneven just a little, not as bad as mine though.
Good job! :thumright:

Thanks. I initially liked mitres better, but in Stephenville theres about a dozen of em sporting 5" mitres....I had to be different. A little taller would have been nice so you could see them from the front, but I ordered 36s and kept them that height. Add the 6" square tubing and 2" angle for mounts, and it came to 44, the same as the rack. I like it though, and the elbow underneath lined up perfect!!! Didnt have to cut flex, elbow, or stacks to make it all work.

I agree, the black sets it off! 8)

I hope you put drain holes in it someplace. I sleeved mine. Welded a 8" long piece of 4 inch pipe
to the 4" square tube, then welded a 5" coupler outside of that. Put the stacks in the coupler, and have a 1/2 inch gap at the front and back for drainage. ;-)

Thanks guys. Im just gonna drill some hole in each corner of the square and one in the middle, then one in the elbow for anything that gets that low. Were in the middle of a drought right now though so not a concern.

Im gonna build a d-plate cover of some sort for them.

That bumper looks sharp too. Thanks. Im hoping to get the cooler bolted up tomorrow so I can put the front end back together. Can everyone keep an eye out for an hx40 for me by the way? No more than I use it right now, I dont want to drop the 1200 for a PS.

ARe housings easy to find aftermarket? I found some, but they have 14cm nonwastegate and 16-18 wastegate. I want a 14, but with my head like it is, I need to keep it below 40.
