Longevity of 14mm (KTA?)

Postby mhuppertz » Thu Sep 10, 2020 8:19 pm

It's been quite a few years since some of you started running a 14mm head, I think KTA had a 600hp to the wheels VE, are any of these still running on the street?

Since recently upgrading to a 62mm/86mm turbo I can tell the fuel supply is going to be the next issue. I love the variable pump timing of the VE, don't want to give that up.

I also need to find a 14cm exhaust housing. The 16cm is now too big to drive the new wheel. The six blade 60mm was perfect with the 16CM, but the seven blade 62mm needs more drive pressure!

Making me contemplate getting an atmospheric turbo for compounding.

It never ends!

Mine is still running but it doesn't have many miles on it.
