get well soon earl young

Postby DTanklage » Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:56 am

dont know if any of you know earl but he had pulled over and was helping someone outta the ditch when a 3rd car lost it on the ice and hit him pretty good

broke his back in 2 spots and broke his leg

everyone oughta pray for him, that he has a speedy recovery

don

ps - he has already had the surgery's and should be out of the hospital pretty soon

said he got lucky, the other car hit the winch cable first and that lessened the impact on the truck he was in!

Thank you Don!

My son was kind enough to smuggle a laptop into the hospital for me....I can tell you how many holes there are in each ceiling tile and how many leaves are on the trees outside.

On the recovery side. I should be out by thurs/fri and have to be bedridden for a bit with therapy at the house daily. I really lucked out on the car hitting the winch cable first as I had the chance to move somewhat out of the way.

Ice and the normal driving too fast was the fault here, neither of the other two were injured but the cable ripped the camry almost in half and ripped the front axel out of the truck I was pulling up to the road.

Doc's state that I will be limping for a while but should regain at least 97% mobility after treatment.

Oh, you're Earl Young. I didn't put the name with the woman-and-baseball-bat avatar.

You broke your back in two places and are expected to regain 97% of mobility? Damn good job on that one.

This is what happens when stupid people drive in bad weather conditions. Good luck on the recovery hope the driver had insurance.
