Pyrometer probe location ??

Postby holeshotracing » Wed Jan 17, 2007 10:12 am

I hope this is the right category for this question.
:?:
Where exactly should the pyrometer probe go? I have an Isspro just waiting to be installed. Thanks.

I drilled and tapped mine without removing a thing. Greased the drill bit and cleaned the shavings as I went, same with the tap. Used a magnet to "fish" what few shavings there were down in the exhaust manifold.

I drilled out this hose blank to run my pyro wiring thru. Worked out great, I have a triple gauge pod in the dash speaker hole.

I did not remove anything either, drilled & tapped the manifold slow while the engine was running, the exhaust blew it all out the new hole.
