dual fuel options?

Postby seeker1056 » Wed May 28, 2008 9:27 am

The other thread was gettin too long so I am starting somewhat of a new one.

I have read all of the various posts on the subject and I do think i may have a pretty good handle on whats being done by KTA and possible a few others.

The only question never answered was wether or not one could plumb the second line into the bottom of the AFC tower rather than into the bleed off bolt. Are there issues with this idea?

My thinking here is one could use an-6 or an-8 entry fitting if one were to use a new entry into the afc housing rather than trying to feed into the rather small hole in the bore of the bleed bolt.

If this were done then one could place a T in the line and read case pressure at the same time??. It would also prevent the bleed off of the second line pressure through the bleed bolt into the return line thereby providing more fuel and fuel pressure to the case.

If i understand the workings correctly the second feed is a failsafe should case pressure drop too far and would benefit from the increased flow??

thoughts?
thanx
