My truck is just a 2wd. I have been told at times daylight can be seen under the front left wheel. Stuckey and Palmer's drag racing Dodges both have had BOTH front wheels off the ground many times, but they run slicks. 8)

We have an old 73 dodge on the farm, it has a rebuilt 360, 4 speed and 4:56 gears in the rear. when we have enough seed corn on the back of it, it will pull the wheels off the ground too.

I think that your utillity box may be contrubiting :P

I'd think he meant that the frotn wheel would come off the ground. Kinda like a semi with a half worn clutch starting on a hill with a novice driver- I've seen them rock and roll quite a bit.

I would think the weight of the B-series would be a limiting factor on how high the front end would come off the ground. When anyone brags about their (fill in the blank) "has enough power to lift the front wheels off the ground," I tell them to add 5 tractor weights on the front bumper and see if it'll still do it

No, I was talking abou lifting the front wheels.

hasn't anyone ever had way too much weight on the back of the truck, and when they accerlate real hard it does wheelies?

I do recall an old black man that haueld scrap cars, he had 4 crushed cars/ trucks piled on the back with one chained to the rear of the 4. when he took off (slow) the front end had a hard time staying down (scary).
This was a mid 80'S chevy one ton on its last leg. He prolly did this every day. L-O-L
