Just drill and tap or do I have to remove the manifold to weld a bung on it?? How thick are these manifolds?

Okayyyy....

I went the safe route and pulled the turbo off to do the probe install....is the stock exhaust manifold supposed to be smooth inside?

I have moved the probe to the back port on the exhaust man. Pulled the fuel pin last night and wish I had my camera....that thing looks like a dowel with a very steep angle cut....aren't these things supposed to be shaped like a cone with one side off-set at the base?

decided to go and start looking at the tranny and it has B&M with a sn# engraved on the side of it!!! The torque convertor is yellow with black stripes on it.

Looks like someone didn't tell me what all was done to this!!

I will be making some phone calls this afternoon as I thought that I was buying a stock truck...

The injector number you posted up must be a performance shop no. I think you wrote BD******** That does me no good.

The fuel cone is a custom unit. Possibly a Smoky or Dog unit.

No your understanding why your truck runs the way it does :)

Well if you really want, I could probably give you a stock pin in exchange for the custom one... I'd even be willing to trade you my stock injectors for your better... I mean, "less stock" ones

I am a little ticked off about this as I went and ordered a Dog pin, new bosch injectors, new turbo, intake, LP, extrude honed exhaust manifold and PAID for the stuff already...some of the stuff has been tweeked and I don't know if they will take them back...I could sell the stuff off my rig but I don't know how long it's been on there nor can I claim the condition other than by sight and "it was working fine when I pulled it off"

I thought I was starting with a stock truck and had a plan for it but now I need to concern myself with what all upgrades have been done and try and match where I want to go with it....

Called B&M and the tranny has upgraded clutches, hardened input shaft, Stage 2 transpak but they didn't match a converter with it. At least I know that the tranny will hold up to a bit more power...but don't know what kind of converter or stall it is.

My only experience with an aftermarket fuel pin was with one from DD, who I believe was the first one out....I borrowed one and gave it a try...
It was a real dog...my stock pin on the steep ramp was much, much better.
Your mileage may vary.
