The case pressure only increases 30 psi which is fine. It advances the timing in the pump a few degrees, so yes it will give you performance all around. I dont know how much you will notice it though. but dont leave it on to long they will heat up

If you would like to know the ins-out and more about this there is a sweet fuel injection pump/nozzle manual. It will tell you more than you want to know. I cannot take time to explain it all here. I can supply the publication number.

There are two basic styles and with-in the early version, there are many differences. They don't all work the same. Some use electric power and some don't. Some pumps simply don't use them.

It does nothing for starting. It's main purpose is to clear up cold idle smoke, as that is when it/they function. Cold. So, not all applications need this.

IMHO , who gives a crap if you have some cold smoke. My timing is so well advanced, it isn't needed.

I know when it's cold in the morning, and I flip the switch on, the idle smoothes out noticibly. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
