MAX FUEL SETTINGS. Reindexed my throttle shaft so I could idle engine down and turn fuel up. It appears I had the fuel screw in all the way. Removed fuel screw and made the tip longer approx 5mm reinstalled all the way in. It raised the idle a little but dosent seem to have turned up fuel(power). It will not run-a-way. Seems to run sluggish, when I let off throttle it acts as if its gonna die but dosent. Also when holding throttle at steady 1000 rpm in 2ng or 3rd gear goes, dont laugh!!! (RUMP RUMP RUMP RUMP RUMP)
ANY CLUES???

cant help you. did have the almost die but doesnt happen, but cannot remember what i did to cure it. i think i might have had to mess with the indexing a little more to get it right.

i curious as to why your not seeing an increase in power with the fuel screw mod keep us posted.

Where is the bottomed out screw in relation to where it was before? If it had already been turned up, it may be at the max, or limited by the injectors. Dying on letting up the throttle sounds like governor spring or flyweight issues. Might not hurt to get it refreshed, much as I hate to beat that dead horse.

Installed my 01 powerstruck intercooler. engine would not turn up. all over at 2800 rpm. WTF!!!!! rembered that it seemed low on power when i reindexed throttle lever to gain lower idle setting. decided to put it back where it was HOLY-SH--!!!! IT WILL NOW TURN STRONGLY TO 3300rpm. Does the indexing change the amount of total fuel ? It seems to have. seems to have lost 10mph in the 1/4 mi and about a second or better. Wound up cutting the end of the idle screw off flush with the pump to get idle down to 800rpm. ANY THOUGHTS?????

I just reindex my throttle shaft so I could get a lower idle and after I did this My truck felt like a dog . I lost 15psi boost and lots of rpm but I could use my idle screw. I figured out that I had to play with the throttle linkage. After doing this I gained all my boost back and top rpm. I didn't think that one click on the shaft would have such a big change. I was almost ready to move the shaft back and live with the high idle.

I couldn't get it back with linkage the pedal was pulling throttle lever all the way to the pump after removeing hi-idle screw. I just didn't think it would have this mutch change(loss) L-O-L.
