An old piston thread...

Postby Cowboy_Customs » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:20 pm

Quite a few months ago, maybe longer there was a thread on pistons and someone linked to a site with ceramic coated Cummins pistons for dirt cheap. I have sence lost and forgot the name of the thread, anyone remember what one I am talking about?
I thought it was Pensacola diesel, but thought wrong. Help me out?
Thanks!

This thread has some info about the teflon coated marine pistons: http://1stgen.org/viewtopic.php?t=1401&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=marine&start=15. On the 3rd page, one of the posts mentions a place in Florida that sells Mahle ceramic coated pistons and another post mentions a place that does ceramic coating.
