How are things over on the dry side Muddy? Been a couple years since we talked. I look forward to making a few more trips to Spokane this year hope to see you.

I just got the truck home today. The owner said he attempted to change the trans fluid when it would not shift correctly. I figured at worst I pull the trans and have a complete rebuild.

I pulled the tranny pan for a laugh. I have not confirmed it 100% but it looks like the 2nd gear bad is no longer on the adjustment bolt and the strut is not in place. I cant see either the strut or the end that is supose to be on the adjustment bolt.

My guess is that the guy dropped the pan found parts ... Put it back together and said I better sell it quick.

I will be pulling the valve body in the M to see whats broke or missing. Wish me luck.

The second gear band strut had fallen out. No real damage got a new strut installed it and adjusted the band.

All speeds now work including the lock up. I gave it a bath and plan to remove the canopy. I plan to use this as my daily driver. I have a new head, cam and fuel fuel system going in my 1st GEN. I can put all my efforts into my favorite truck the 93.
