Gauges are in, EGT's empty I can not get over 1050, towing a light load ( 1500lbs or so) I did hit 1250. My boost only gets to 17lbs or so.

Now I want to do injectors, was looking at 370s or PODs but have heard both are really dirtyand have more draw backs then I want. Now Im looking at DPP. I think I want the 80hp ones but have had a couple people at diesel shops tell me the 40hp ones will do me great. Suggestions here would be very helpful.
Now I still have a stock turbo and the stock governor spring, the spring will get changed soon but the turbo will be a bit. My goal is about 300 hp thats usable. Smoke on demand NOT at an idle or just cruising.

I can deal with some smoke now as long as it will clear up when I change turbos. My biggest thing is I only want to do this once, I dont have the money to not be happy with new injectors only to sell them cheap to o out and get another set.

I guess what I am really after is simple enough, the magic combination of injectors and turbo to make 300hp.

Sorry that this is so long winded and thaks in advance.

370's are a lot cleaner than PODs. Check with Chuck at New Era.
For 300hp, a 60mm turbo upgrade kit should do it for your truck. A 12 or 16mm exhaust housing is a must do also. With the 366 spring, that should wake it up nicely. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

The guy at Auto Source told me that 370's are for a marine piston and while they are cleaner then POD's they are a dirty injector and he recommended against them. He said they are cheap and will build good power but not a good call for a daily driver. He said a good choice would be the 40hp DDP injectors, I am really kinda leaning towards the 80hp ones tho.

Anyone have experiance with the DDP 80hp injectors, if so what do you think of them? What are the goods and bads while running a stock turbo?

The 370s' New Era has are not the 2nd. Gen style Marine 370 injectors. They are 1st. Gen injectors EDM'd to 370 flow rates. Check my signature this is a daily driver.

I agree with Tim 100%! Mine is a daily driver in the summer and I can run it as clean or as dirty as I wish.
