AFAIK, KTA did with a B1 and his injectors, Stomp did with a hx40 and custom 370's. I think way back when what's his name in WA state did with hogged out POD's and? ??, then GLHS did with a htb2 64 and not sure what sticks.

You're gonna need more than POD's and a hx35 based turbo and possibly a stick over an auto.

Keep in mind, dyno numbers can vary from state to state. Just because someone claims X number HP don't mean it's legit. Take it for what's worth. You can't compare one dyno number to another unless it's the same dyno. Even then there's variables.

I've thought about trying to do this with my 91.5 auto. Get a bigger 4" turbo, say a htb2 62/71 and put my Scheid EDM's in it. Just so I can join the single turbo 12mm VE 400hp club :D .

wow, thanks for the info, so more power is attainable without going to twins and 14mm head and rotor, what about streetability? does is suffer quite a bit due to larger inj and big turbo?

When I did 480+ back in the day I was bashed alot because my truck was an unstreetable monster that would melt down and was only good for competition. It was a commonly held and perpetuated belief that anything over 300rwhp with the VE was impossible, even some big name vendors said it could not be done such as Peirs and Don~ M. My truck has always driven fine in any form, except when i had that Haisley 50 on there then it was a pig. LOL Made good power but drove terrible. My B-1 spools as good as my stock h1c 18cm ever did, and my driveability was no diffrent at almost 500hp than it was at 350hp. :D
