Ok, got a replacement WH1C on her...had to use the old snail on the exhaust as mine is v-clamped. I have noticed a bit more smoke on take-off and now I have boost throughout the rpm range with it showing max at 29lbs @ 2850rpm 1295exh.

did a standing start run and did 0-100@ 10.5sec 1st run with eng temp at 198deg and 2795rpm

2nd run 210deg 0-100@ 9.8 sec 2890rpm

Launches were made at 1900 rpm...any higher and the boost is over 25lbs and just smokes the tires.

no 1/4 markers nor dyno yet....how can I figure what she would do in the 1/4 mile?

Are these numbers any good?

i'm not openly doubting you, but 0-100 in 10.5 sec is flying. my 66 plymouth runs a 1/4 mile in 12.20's and only see's 112 or so mph. i think kta's been mid 13's at around 104.

how far is the nearest track, most have a test and tune night where you can run for 10-15 bucks. dyno's don't give an assessment of what a vehicle can really do. big numbers are fun to look at and talk about, but they don't relate to work done. (that ought to bring some comments :P )

my truck can go from 40-85 in about 7 sec.. getrag won't survive 1900 rpm launches so i don't do em.

go-cart -

Nope...I am going to setup a camera mount and shoot some footage this weekend....

I do need to verify the speedo...I checked it with my f150 up to 70mph but that's as fast as my wife will drive it.

Closest track is Bandemier but never been there..I just moved to this area in July.

My truck is heavy for a 1 gen at 7200lbs plus me so about 7400 race weight and the fastest it has been is 110 in the 1/4mile. With an auto and a good launch somewhere around the 100mph mark in the 1/4 is about a 13second run at the most. If you are only 10 seconds to 100 you should be in the 12second range in the 1/4at the slowest!!!! Maybe your speedo reads KMH not miles. Or your truck weighs about 4000lb

Mine will hit a hundred quicker than that, even with 36's and a speedo that's slow.......'course that's with the rearend on jack stands in the driveway. Details... Really, though, that is flat out fast. Especially for a one ton dually. Jet engine in the bed?

I thought you meant 100km/h

You should get it to a track and see how fast it really is
