It's official, if it wasn't for Red Green we'd all hate Canada.

Going my our usual method of the vehicle being named after its previous owner, the RC would be named Bakie. An easy name, but doesn't have much to do with what it is. :(

Levi did you swap to 3/4 ton springs out ftont and if so how much height difference is there between them and the 1/2 ton?

This may answer you, here's how it sits with the stock 100k+ RC leaves/block and my 200k+ W250 front leaves.

Image

Rear is almost exactly 1.5" lower. I'm hoping the shackle flip will kill the block and the 63" leaves will give me the 1.5" bump I need.

But I know it'll never work out that way.

Those rear fenders need opened up badly but no way I'm bothering with it.

I was wondering about the front. Thinking of putting W250 leaves on the Duck when I convert it to keep the nose up and clear 33's

It'll clear 33" easy, that's what's in this pic. My springs are actually arched negatively pretty noticeably too. A fresh, stock set would probably net you another inch.

Also, as a follow up to an earlier post, my truck no longer follows ruts with these tires, it's those nittos. I don't remember them always doing that but they sure do it now. Runningthem on H2 wheels, both with and without 1.5" spacers, they drag you all over the place. I need to find out what happened because id like another set of them in 37" to swap with these KM2s when I'm just DD-ing it. :?

So how has the RC and your truck been coming along? Have you messed with the supercharger setup any?

I'm back!!

At this point, the wiper bushings are out of both trucks despite them being replaced last fall, the Dodge left me sitting on the side of Rt2 this morning with gelled fuel, and the RC is a cold-natured bitch and I refuse to hook the grids up.

I hacked out the core support by eyeballing Ike's post, so the old Dodge can now fit a 2ndgen IC. I'll have to trim the grill and lower valance, but I've got a couple of those laying around at this point so no biggie. I need to do the shackle flip and spring swap on the rear of the RC but I just don't feel like doing them.

I also bought stock engine/trans mounts for the old Dodge today. I'm sick of the rattles...

I want a diesel rc so bad. Ive kinda been hoping some idiot ass packs my truck hard enough this winter that the insurance co would be kind enough to buy me a recipient for my drivetrain. No luck yet :(

I love it, since it's so stock it's way quieter and more smooth than the old dodge, it's making me rethink a lot of the stuff I did to the truck. Like the drivetrain mounts and the hood insulation, I'll be putting it back on very soon.

An rc would be nice for sure. With some recent devolopments it looks like brownie may be getting on the road cummins powered sooner than initially planned.

Mine has never been broke and down. I've broken 2 rear axles, 3 head gaskets (logic says block was warped), uh..... I think that's it. But it has never left me stranded.

Oh, wait...the 14mm left stranded at the end of my road.
