You mean the timing bump would help with cranking/starting when it's cold? I already bumped it to try to get it to warm up faster, it's a little slow on the heat in the mornings. Oddly enough, I bumped it to the head and it sounded more rattly than the old Dodge did with a tooth+a bump to the head. I actually brought it back some to get it to quiet down.

Sure ran good up top at that setting though.

Only reason I said that Levi was because my truck was always a butthole to crank and idle cold in the winter. After I did the 1/8 timing bump it was way better acting. Since you've already been there.....ignore my posting

Edit that was when it was bone stock too so.....it's been awhile

Finally back into warm-weather productivity, 12 hour days at work and full weekends in the garage.

Here's the only two pics I bothered with on my 64" chevy leaf swap.

Image

The delightful spot my forward spring eye ended up on the RC.

I've got the forward hanger figure out now I think, just got to try it out. It'll be a bitch getting the rear of the spring pulled down to go into the flipped shackles... I may drill out the stockers and try to run them if it puts me too high. I'll be lucky if these leafs don't end up negatively arched to get the height I'm running. (40.5" ground to fender lip on 37" KM2's.) 8)

What the hell is a ctl? I don't speak acronym.

I got my ass whooped by the RC this weekend. Got one aide sitting on the chevy leaves but The rear tire is a hair back in the wheel well. Not a huge deal, unless your spring mount is literally mating with your body mount like mine is.

I'll try again next weekend. Looks like another week of 12hr days for me.

Tracks still skid to steer! Salesman at work call them CTLs and I'm, "wtf are you talking about?" It's still a skid steer, I don't give a crap what it rides on!

Caterpillar calls them a skid steer either way. Evens are tires and odds are tracks. 247=tracks and 246=tires.
