which pump is the better pump over all non i/c or the i/c pump..
i have a 1993 and with the fuel screw at run away 6x18 injectors no afc with a stock turbo the truck doesnt smoke like my 91 dually did ...
FOR SALE 1991 dodge d350 hx40 2nd gen intercooler, few pump mods, 366 spring, no afc, timing bump,pistion lift pump, 5" down pipe, bhaf, old smokey fuel pin, boost, pyro, tach gauges 14.10 @96mph 310hp, pm for pics and info..

6x18, no AFC and doesn't smoke enough? That's not natural.

Neither pump is "better." I believe Brian said the Non I/C pumps have slightly larger DV's, which might be good for a very slight increase in horsepower, like 10rwhp or so.

What are the specs of your truck. Fuel supply, turbo?

1993 d250 short bed. stock turbo, high press piston lift pump timing to the head.. 4200 gov spring
from a dead stop no boost stomp on it it smokes but nothing like my dually witch is in my sig..

high pressure lp? as in 15 psi after a pressure relief?

can i ask what pressure relief u used? and how u chose to make the pump fit with the insulation around the crankcase breather? im looking for ideas on my install

Part of the problem is the piston pump not keeping up with the 6x18's.
92 w250, NV4500, D80, maxed pump, AFC gone, extended fuel screw, more to come.
