cooler tubz

Postby 1STGENFARMBOY » Tue Oct 06, 2009 2:56 pm

look under cooler tubz in this forum and it shows some good pics of them, they are sweet. :2cool: they are bigger tubz that go between your inercooler and your turbo & intake to flow more air.

Coolertubes are stainless steel intercooler tubes that Tworline on this site makes.

I just met Tim this weekend and saw my first set of coolertubes in person on his truck and they are very high quality and Tim is a hell of a good guy

just put my tubz on today and i lost 3 psi max boost.im assuming its because im getting a greater volume of air at a lesser pressure? also did anybody get better fuel economy with them?

You'll lose a couple psi of boost, 100-200* drop in EGT, and mileage would probably be about the same. You definitely wouldn't lose any mpg's.

1800* in 8 seconds empty? Coolertubz won't solve that problem. You'll definitely have to turn the pump down before you put any kind of load on it. Or a bigger turbo...
