I Know I'm Cheap, But I Would Like Input

Postby doublel89 » Sat Nov 21, 2009 10:23 pm

Picked up a 1st gen intercoler today, going to get that set up with my hx35. I work at an electrical company and was kindof eyeballing the thin wall type EMT conduit as a possible canidate for the intercooler tubes. also would like input on building my custom intake horn. i know i should probally grind the welds from the inside as to not restrict airflow and tap it for future water / methanol injection, etc . thanks.
91 3/4 Ton 4x4, 5.9 Cummins,DDP Fuel Pin I usually leave it out though, DDP 40 Horse Sticks, HX35W And 2nd Gen Intercooler, Single 5'' Trunout, NV5600 Swap, Dually Conversion, 3.08 Rear Gears, Soon A Custom Hauler Bed

Not as cheap as Bill! I know the 4" thin conduit makes nice exhaust pipe. ;)

That would work no worries. As for the intake horn, it's so cheap to get a 2nd gen horn that it's kinda silly to make your own unless you really want to.
