I added a piece in the middle so there will be no issues with it walking forward or back.

I see some broken transfer case input shafts in the future from the guys putting a getrag in front of the unbelievably tiny input shaft of the auto (23 spline) transfer case. This coupler looks really good and I don't ever see it being the failure. I should get a picture, or maybe someone else will before I do, of the tiny 23 spline input shaft versus the larger 29 spline input shaft. It's not the splines, it's the diameter of the shaft.

Bill can you just buy a 29 shaft and change it into the auto transfercase, cause i'm wanting
to put a getrag in my truck someday and i need to know if i need a T/C also.

Yes, nothing a good machinist can't do. You might not be able to run an input seal in the 205 though. Philip and I are working on that though.

this may allow guys to run a doubler 203/205 kit now as any one with a 29 spline trans output was out of luck as no 203's ever fit a 29 spline trans output... i had asked soem places to make what you made and they didn't want to build it for me.
I probbaly will be picking one up when i get some extra cash.

Sounds good and thanks for the info, I am finding out there are many different uses for the coupler other than my original intentions.

Question: Are there 203's with a male input shaft? The only ones I have seen had a female input and didnt use a coupler.

If you have a 23 spline core to send in I can have them built and shipped out about 3 days after receiving your core.

I saw this coming.
The aftermarket saw the need for the 29 spline couplers, but now there's a shortage of 23s. :?

I just picked up a 23 spline t-case to-day and wouldn't you know that the coupler for it is bad on BOTH sides. :/

Mark.
