Does it feel any stronger with the super 40?

the roads were wet, my tach and pyro were out of the dash so couldnt tell and I'm having some timing issues. A little less boost (wastegate) than the w1c/e. It was pushing 50psi way too much.

checked timing, it was 16 and not advancing with rpm. My pump is a non Dodge application and I dont know what the advance curve is, gonna lock out the advance set it about 30 degrees and dyno it. I have a miss that I'm trying to find. I fear it may be a burt/bent valve or a headgasket. Gonna do a compression test today.

replaced injectors, did a compression check (all 6 holes right about 400psi) re-checked the valves, taking off the 14mm pump and putting back on a stocker. I'm disappointed that Im not gonna have the 14 for 7May's dyno day but I've got to find that miss!

That's the problem with changing a bunch of stuff at once...hard to track down the gremlins.

Good luck!

106.75' in the stock class, not good but I think I beat 3 other trucks. 93.0 in the 2.8, probably last. A good lesson on pulling on a wet sticky track. The sled pulled very heavy and slow. 11 june is the next pull. Next project is new tires and putting my 14mm pump back together.

Dude, thats all? :?

Musta been REALLY sticky! When I pulled on a looser track, I pull 198, and 193 on a 250ft track. TO put it in perspective, I was 2nd to last on both. When the sleds air bags filled, game over.

I had a maxed pump, original 200k+ clutch, stock injectors, stock turbo, stock sized tires (fronts were bald, thank you Walmart), 3200 rpm spring. Clutch held!

Yeah, got to love those bald stock sized tires! Next pull is 11June, hoping for a looser track and some new tires. Would love to see how the 14mm would do, but probably wont have it (the pump)back together by then. Just have to pull the 12mm again.

decided to head to a rare Sunday pull after church. 4th out of 5 and drove the truck home. Competing against (and loosing to) chipped up commonrails is getting old. I need to get my 14mm pump back together, not that I'll win but more HP can't hurt.

pulling tonight, got the 14mm back on but have to take it off today to fix a fuel leak. It feels pretty good but a little hard to tell with a 1940lb block o concrete and another 800-1000lbs of watertank on the bed.
