This will not negate the operation of the full fuel screw. It *WILL* negate the entire AFC. Nothing there will warrent use in any way. Some simply cannot use this mod as the following will occure;

Extream smoke at low boost/low end throttle applications (no passing emission tests)

Way-high E.G.Temps when towing with out extream mods to air flow and possibly water cooling.

Loads more idle speed haze. It will pass over your truck and into the intersection. Kinda a grey smoke. Smells good and look cool but you get strange looks from the greenies.

Yes, it will add more fuel and you will make more power. It just has the drawbacks Greenleaf mentioned.

When the spray is on, probably not.

Alright...

So, by removing the AFC lever, you are adding fuel above-and-beyond what a fully tweaked fuel screw adds?

And, on a corollary, by removing the AFC pin you are also adding fuel above-and-beyond a fully tweaked fuel screw?

And removing the AFC lever you are adding more fuel than just by removing the pin?

Before you remove it, You might try doing the foot grind first and see how you like that. I was super suprised at the difference. But if you must remove it,,, Take the pump top off. Drive out the pivot balls at the lever pin. You drive the the ball on the far side by driving the ball on the near side into the pivot pin. Then youll have to reinstall the balls and seal them.

where does the "too much fuel" on the bottom end come in to effect with this sort of thing? I've heard that too much fuel thrown at the turbo before it has spooled won't make it spool faster. So would taking the afc lever off help spool up or would it be considered too much?
