Do you have a clean idle with larger injectors?

Postby Dean » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:04 pm

Hi

I am wondering if anyone with larger injectors has a no smoke (stock like) idle?

Thank you
Dean

The PowerpartsEngineering 435s have a huge black cloud when it starts and then they are perfectly clean at idle cold or warm.

if you drive very carefully thry will stay clean too. and at highway cruse they are clean, but put the hammer down and holy SMOKE !!!!!!!!!

My injectors idle haze, it is not real noticeable unless its is in headlights at night or on a bright summers day you will see it pretty good. I don't care that it hazes though, so its not a problem for me. 8)

Mine haze at idle when the engine is cold. Warmed up it's clean.

I think the reason the POD's haze is because they're not exactly designed for our application. I think POD's have a higher pop pressure, as well as a slightly different spray angle.

POD's are like a toilet bowl. They just dump a lot of fuel fast, not as good atomization. I can't remember the size, but they only have 4 holes.
