New trip! CENTRAL ARKANSAS!

Postby Mark Nixon » Sat Aug 06, 2011 10:42 pm

Got a truck BODY to pick up in central Arkansas.
I'll be picking it up from a guy that has a bunch of 1st gen sheetmetal that's decent.

Plans are to leave BY mid-week to go get it with the "Super Hauler"

I have a couple of OEM grilles, nothing terribly fantastic, condition wise, but presentable.

Could you get me a 94-98 functional shortblock someday? I am going P-pump eventually.

Head,
How complete of a "shortblock" do you need?
No pump, cover, case, head or accessories?

I have one sitting here that I'm considered parting out.
Where in Wyoming are you?

I've only ever had ONE oem grille that didn't have a crack ahead of the hod safety latch and it was JUST starting, couldn't see it, but it likely would have spread in time.

New OEM ones were available a few months back, but they were $400+ for just the chrome shell.
Dunno' if they are still available, or not.

Their are aftermarket shells availiable but they don't have the dodge on them, really don't want to settle, if a crack is not visible with the hood shut it would be tempting

I want one with the pump, cover, and case, just no cylinder head. I am a good ways away from Nebraska, but am willing to travel.

Head,
I'd sell the complete '94 one I have, less the block plate, for $1200.
It needs the pump timed, simple if you know what it takes to do it and I can show you.
I'm heading in your general direction in the next day or 2, it could be on the truck.

Otherwise I know of a complete '98 12 valve with the 215 HP pump on it for $1500, my cost.
