WA - CA - NV - UT - WY - ND

Postby Jasonb61 » Mon Oct 07, 2013 10:45 am

Will be in Western Washington until about 10/13/13 then driving to California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and ending in North Dakota. I am driving a 2012 Chevy 2500 with an empty bed and an empty tow dolly until Utah. I am very flexible with dates and routes if anyone needs something hauled. Reasonable rates. Give me a call/text at 706-870-6292 or send me an email - jasonb61@gmail.com

Thanks.

It's a mess up there. I get sent there once in awhile. Usually during the coldest part of the year.

There is risk. I'm not an engineer or anything, but most of the time the well depth is way way below any water tables. We don't get much resistance here because 99% of the time we are on public lands in the middle of BFE.

We have a guy here who transferred from horse head, NY and he commented about the protesters there.

Yeah, southern NY is all up in arms about it. Some people are all for it and some are saying it poisons the water. IMO the funny thing about it is if one guy signs a gas lease and his neighbor doesn't, it doesn't mean anything! They can drill from the leased property and go under the neighbors and get the gas anyways. The drills can be turned like a direction borer.
They are passing laws here that if the gas companies want to frack they have to recover the water and send it to a waste water treatment plant to be properly disposed of instead of just dumping it on the ground.
I don't know the whole deal, I just skimmed the stuff in the paper about it.

Well, its probably a good thing for such a law. The water gets to be pretty nasty. Some companies use it over and over. One company we worked for required you to wear a respirator if you were around the water tanks due to the Benzene content. Others pump the produced water back into wells that are no longer producing.

I don't know what to tell you. The easy oil is gone. We're drilling deeper and deeper. They are even fraccing in Saudi Arabia now. It used to just come out of the ground there.
