Yeah these blocks are non structural and I have seen issues before with main bearing failures when the engines were mounted solid in the frames via the stock mounting locations. In reality those side mounts are really weak and in a bad place anyways. The best mounting method is a single point in the middle in the front and two mounts off each side of the bellhousing. That puts the stresses in line and blanced. The block can essentialy have freedom without being loaded by the vehicle.
