That's what I've always ever heard about them. Probably been at least 5yrs since I've seen one trailer equipped with it. None of them at work have them. All electric, and none of them work. :bh
For the lazy general public, it is simpler for them, and far easier to maintain, and you don't have to bleed them.
I wish they would make them with air brakes myself, like the big trucks. Not just for the med/hd trucks. Effective, and relatively cheap to work on, vs hydraulic. Hate working on juice brakes with a passion.
