Actually, I had no idea the lack of updates in this thread would be so upsetting. Upon realizing this I quit my job and drove straight home to grab this pic of the next set of mods I'm going to install.

Image

I'll put up some pics of the install tonight, but right now I need to run back over to my ex-job site and grab my factory after cooler so I can fab up my intake piping for it while I replace all the gaskets in my exhaust. (again) (for the 4th time)

Levi, at least use diesel fuel to burn it down. It would only be fitting. ;)

Awwww, we're not picking. :P

We're getting storms tonight so my mod is on hold. I was going to pull it into the garage and do it but dad said I can't for some odd reason. I'm waiting on the T3 and T6 gaskets before I replace my manifold gaskets, I'll need to pull them off there since I'm running that manifold blanket.

The price we pay for trendy performance.

Oh, and Hineman, I learned in our MSHA safety meeting that diesel doesn't ignite with an open flame until it has been warmed above 200*. Unless I can heat it in my microwave and then run it out to the truck before it cools down I'm not sure how it's going to happen. 8)

TacoBell, lower the ignition point with gasoline, @ a 50/50 mix lights nice, but not disastrous to the pyromaniac. :P

Soak your seat down with it and see how long it takes to ignite.

Considering he used to be a mod, I doubt he comes in this thread much. It probably gives him a nervous twitch as he reads through it.

Alexs bike looks frigging brutal to ride very far.

surprisingly comfortable, controls were low so most of the weight was off of my wrists, unlike the newer streetbikes where your knees are in your face

I can attest to this. I used to burn trash at my house, and got tired of blowing myself up with straight gas. 50/50 is not so volatile.

I'll keep all this in mind for when I finally snap on my truck, much appreciated, guys. :)

I took the old Dodge out shopping for groceries this morning since I want to make sure my filter is completely plugged with soot before I change my gaskets on the exhaust side. Strolling back out of the store I see this sexy little gem:
Image

Pretty cool sight to see it parked right in front of my truck. I would have grabbed a pic of both of them but it was from my truck's rusty side and I couldn't stand the embarrassment. I did a couple laps around it just enjoying seeing another out in the wild, then I noticed this:

I'm starting to think that Dodge's wiring problems may not all be caused by crappy factory wiring.
