I didn't get it finished tonight. I got the secondary sitting on it's studs, then I realized it was so dark there was no way I was sneaking a wrench in there.

Oh well, I needed more beer anyways.

That's not true, I only drink when I breathe.

I completely stopped drinking for about 6 weeks when Igot the bike, but when that thing goes down I've got to find other hobbies to keep me busy. Standing in my yard hefting 70lb turbos in 90* heat just seems a lot easier when I've got a beer or 7 to sip on. :P

Boom!!

The guy from BBD came through for me! I guess he had to call and chew on Borg a little to get this thing back on their minds.

Fine, since nobody cares about my housing I guess I'll just post some more about the bike.

I decided I didn't want to be in Gallia County this weekend so I jumped on the bike and took off. (and made a couple phone calls)

I ended up in Renick WV, at a cabin right on the banks of the Greenbrier. 8)

Not before I rode through 1.5 hours of rain though. I finally had to stop and get some hot chocolate. I couldn't feel my hands anymore:

I didn't take many pics of the scenery, but I did turn around to grab this old power station made into some natural falls there:
Image

4 hours after I left, I was there:

Turns out I couldn't fit my kayak on my bike so this is about all I got done:

It couldn't have gone better.

I bet I'll have around $40 in gas on the whole trip. The cabin would have probably been pretty pricy, but it was some remote family friend and I only stayed one night anyways.

All I needed was the time, and once I forgot about all the sthi that needed done around the house I found I had plenty of tha as well. 8)

Pete, the bike did really well minus a slight miss caused by me raping a plug boot during a change and the river of water gushing onto it. By slight miss I mean complete dropped cylinder right in the middle of 70mph traffic.

Nope, if you were there you'd have known that the Vice Grips were definitely having non-consensual motions with those boots. There's just no good way to get in there to them. :?

Also, I just tried to test fit my housing. It won't clear the inducer diameter...

I can foresee this turning into quite the fiasco...

Meh, it's not a huge deal I guess. I can put on that piping setup I had back when I was running the S300 with the non-IC'd intake, I just figure the boots are gonna hate their life. I may have to bite the bullet and fab something up out of exhaust pipe to get rid of them. At least until I get this mess sorted out on the housing.

I know since I took the measurement that it ain't going to be a freebie, even though I told them I couldn't get it perfect because of the odd number of blades. Then again, dude's been really helpful so far, so maybe it won't be so bad.

Here's hoping. 8)
