Welp really been livin up to my screenname this year.

Really tore it up good last night. Broke a traction bar frame mount which caused the axle to wrap up severly which in turn broke both spring perches on the axle, then with the crazy pinion angle it spit the shaft out when it ripped the straps off the yoke, it also broke both spring center pins and bent some u bolts.

However I ended up with a 3rd and a 2nd

How cool is that! Did you twist the axle back and drive it home on the front shaft?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Didn't even twist it back down, Pulled the bars and the shaft, Unloaded the rack and pulled the blocks and drove it home dog trackin like a bitch.

Now we get to pull the whole axle out from under the truck and burn off the old perches and weld some new steel ones on, put a new yoke on, put 2 fresh joints in the shaft pull the springs and do new center pins.

Andrew ..i guess your gonna make some traction bar brackets to weld on the axel tubs now eh.

what you had did a fine job of keeping the springs from rapping, but didn't keep the rearend from
trying to spin.

I would have never thought about that happing if i hadn't saw it happin to you. way to take one for the team.

While you are welding perches on you better weld the carrier to the axle tubes too! Trust me they will spin up next if you keep the axle in place and they are a BITCH to try to straighten out.

Well its back together now. And Brian I did weld the tubes to the pig.

When I ordered the perches I had em blow some extra spring pin holes so I could offset the axle back and gain an inch of wheelbase
