Engine won't shutoff!

I've read on here that the missing piece will lodge in the delivery valve (DV). It will just restrict fuel to that injector. I've lost several and haven't had a problem yet. But don't go by my results.

I'm missing a piece on mine too, but hasn't seemed to effect anything lol...yet....... we must be one of the lucky ones that it just vanished......

Sorry for the late response guys. I 've been driving the truck daily and haven't had any issues with restriction to an injector caused by the chip. i think i'm going to just make a manual shutoff and call it good. I recently bought a complete p pump setup with everything i need to swap it in, so that will be going in as soon as I get some free time. Thanks for the help though, you guys are a wealth of knowledge!

I just went the cheaper way and put the pull cable on mine. For some reason I cant seem to keep my foot out of it!!!!
