Naw. I didn't have the high pressure line for #5 tight on the back of the IP. I had the wrench on it. Thought I had it done up. NOPE. Got it snugged up, and smoothed right out after I cracked it loose on the other end to get the air out. Thought it had been tight. Guess I wound up hitting against one of the other fittings with the wrench.
Oh well. Running DAMN good now!
Better now, that even when I drove 'er home from Mark's after I bought it.
With the bumped timing and the BD fuel pin, it's like a whole new truck.
Doesn't dog down letting out the clutch at idle (even in 1st) anymore either.
Never touched the idle setting. Sounds really good with the timing bump, too.
Also, removed the ratio box. Now, the speedo is only 5mph slow, vs almost 50% with the box in place. Was one in a bag of parts that came with the 92. Tried it for the heck of it. WAY off.
Turbo drain gasket still leaking.
New gasket and loctited bolts. Both surfaces clean and smooth.
