Not yet.

I did get the axles off the other frame.

I need to work on it, but it seems like every weekend has been busy lately. That and I don't have the extra cash for 7 new tires right now.

Are you just going dually or 4x4 as well?

Just dually. A guy at work was interested in the dana 60, but hard to tell if he'll want it now that it is ready to pick up.

I expect pics when its done. :D

On another note can someone tell me how the shift knob is held on my NV4500 on my 01? Is it splined and held on with a nut, or does it screw on, or is it glued on? My ocd is kicking in because the dam thing has spun somehow and the numbers are sideways.

The knob is threaded and theres a jamb nut inside the know, under the number plate. You can peel the plate out and turn it, if possible. I have one I cant get apart for my transmission but the one for my transfer case pops right out.

Andy, using the palm of your hand, put pressure on the pattern on the shift knob and rotate it in the direction you want the pattern to go. It takes a few tries to get it moving, but it will come around. I have used this trick on alot of trucks because it drives me nuts too...

Ive tried palming it and rotating but the dam thing wont go back. Ive also thought about swapping to a T handle style but like the factory look to much.

Cute, new little buddy that cruised over in a crate of conveyor rollers the other day. I'm thinking of housebreaking him and keeping him as a pet, but he's got a biting problem. ;)

I was hoping to get to introduce him to everybody one day but it ain't gonna happen now. I went to scratch him under the chin and he lunged at me. Apparently the disciplinary smack I gave him was a bit hard, and now he's just a smear.

Don't worry, I'll try to find a Brown Recluse for the next one. I hear they're much less high-strung.
