Nope, still getting this housing made. It wasn't right so I sent the whole turbo in with it to get redone. It's been quite a while since I sent it in, so I'm getting a bit antsy. I hate to bug the guy, but I try to send him a message every week to see what's up.

He said it was on the production list at the beginning of last week. Assume it's out of both our hands since its at the machine shop. :?

If it's anything like our local machine shops it will be at least another month then.

He got ahold of me today, said he'd find out for me. If it's any longer than a week the HX is going on.

I'm done waiting. :?

It's on the production list for this week, which is what they told him a week or two ago. F it.

I pulled off the 475 and the 5" DP tonight. The H1c is chilling on there and I'm taking some pipe and a V-band to work tomorrow to get things ready for the new middlecooler setup. If I play my cards right, this H1c will have a very similar outlet placement to the 362 so the piping I make will be somewhat interchangeable.

I did learn that the factory 3" DP isn't quite as effective once you've flipped the manifold over. Really making me consider that other hood and a hood stack for a couple weeks...

Nope, too many distractions. It's getting close to the time of year when I stop drinking to stay cool and start drinking to have fun. It'll be a real slow time for my truck when that hits.

I've got a Rancher with a completely seized wristpin I'm messing with in the garage, a Ramcharger that I've been coating the body mount bolts every day with penetrating oil and trying to convince myself they're ready, and other general household stuff that I hate doing. Plus I went full retard and welded my V-band connection to my piping with a damn stick welder and ruined it. Now I'll have to weld the pipe straight to the flange I made to bolt onto the aftercooler and when the new setup arrives pull it all off, make another flange, and do it right. Not to mention the fact that I can't find ANY 2.5" 45* pipe anywhere local, even the huh? crush-bent stuff.

In other words, a complete cluster-fkcu that I just can't make myself take on when there's other crap to do.

'Ya know?

Bolted everything up tight, cobbled together a drain, and started pumping on the primer. Got dribbles at the lines around the IP head, so I tightened them up and gave it a 30 second crank. No dice, so I went back and gave it another 30. Spray at #'s 2 and 6, so I closed them up and went back for one last crank. The second it turned over it started hitting on the 2 closed cylinders. I was so proud. :rambo:

Closed the rest up and she's running fine. I need to put my inner fender back on and track down my 4" 45* elbow to replace the 5-4", then I'll probably ease it over to work and make up a pipe to hook the turbo to the intake.

I just sit and let it idle for a while tonight, you could tell it just needed it. I think we both did.

Completed, minus the crossover tube that I'll be making tomorrow after I drive it to work. I took it up the road and it runs fine N/A. Well, fine enough to get me up to 55 without seemingly overspeeding the poor turbo.

I took my hotpipe wrap and wrapped the downpipe with it since it is now apparently in the way of everything. It was a bit long so it'll now be serving as a turbo wrap as well until I add some length to the DP and get it shooting into the current exhaust. My pyro started working since I threw in a new probe while it was all down, so if nothing else that's pretty cool.

Here's the goods. (bads)

And no, I probably won't be painting that intake since I'll refuse to open the hood in public with this setup. :P And yes, I know it's bad to drive without a filter.(it does technically have one) :P And yes, Hineman is gay.
