Its got home made drop shackles on the rear. You can buy drop shackles for them.

12 more useful post and you will be able to.

Hey Mark do you know the what the difference is in the van lower control arms and the ones for our Cummins trucks? They look similar. Is it the ball joint size. I measured the bolt that holds on mine and it appears to be 3/4". It appears they are using 3/4 ton B250 lower arms.

Here is the 4000lb axles LCA I've used.

These are the hillbilly modded spring hangers the previous owner made.

I also noticed my rear tires have rubbed at some point.

Big papa post some pics of how yours sits now.

P.S. it looks like the 3600 pound LCA uses the same balljoint as the half ton truck according to a link i found.

I've never fully investigated the Dodge van lower arms.
I do know that the dually style lower arms from the '70s to mid-'80s vans AND dually trucks interchange up to January 3 of 1991.
After that date the radius (or strut) rod bolts ON THE PICK-UPS were a bigger diameter, 9/16" late, 1/2" early.

A lot of information is on the door tag under "GWR front" or "GWR rear" .
A dual rear wheel (drop center, "Budd" wheel) is usually rated at 4,000 pounds across the board, van or truck, but there are some 3300 pound and 3600 pound ratings, I am not sure if they are for SRW or DRW.

If I'm not sure and I'm researching interchanges, I go to Car-Part.com and play around with the applications there, it's not dead nuts accurate, but it's gotten me pointed in the right direction more than once since I've used it.

The easy answer is that anything with a DRW is the same lower control arm, the strut rod bolt hole size, notwithstanding.

Mark.
