I went ahead and put the old bed back on the truck for now. It will be a little while before I have all the dually parts and paint done.
It drives very nice with the new pump. If you're easy on it you can drive with no smoke at all. 2nd and 3rd gear will blow the tires off on dry pavement. I run out of road and balls in 5th, so I really don't know what it is really capable of. If the road is the slightest bit damp, mashing it at 55mph/5th gear will get you 70 and sideways pretty well instantly.
With the old pump I could just hit 60 psi overall boost in 4th. Never had the 100psi gauge in it then, but it would peg the 60psi gauge pretty hard in 5th. With the new pump, I can hit 60-65 psi in 3rd. Primary boost is 30-32 psi in 3rd and 4th gear. I need a good stretch of highway to see what its got in 5th. I haven't been able to get max numbers in 5th yet. I want to mess with it for a while on the street before I dyno it.
