The middlecoolers did come on generators, but I'm also pretty sure they came on some busses as well. Pretty much anything with a 6BT"A" has one if they don't have an air-to-air.

Speaking of Miller Light (elsewhere), the girl got her first dent last night. Beer makes your truck seem smaller than it actuall is, some weenie-ass little tree did that to my bedside. :(

The RC goes in the shop the second the Massy's block heater gets it warm enough to start.

That's more progress then I've made this winter.

Can anyone confirm the thread size and pitch of the bolts that hold the manifold to the head? I'm piecing together a stud setup and I want to double check. My Allen bolts I'm currently using keep going loose and ruining my gaskets. I feel it's too hot to use loctite there, so some studs with locking flange bolts should fix it.

Yup, pulled it right off there and left the bulbs and all 4 screws that hold it. No broken plastic or anything, if I didn't know any better I'd bet someone stole it in the night and put the screws back in. And the alcohol could have made the trees seem smaller as well as my truck, who knows.

My frame jack started shooting geysers out of the top of it's cylinder the second it touched the rocker of the RC. I forsee this being a recurring theme throughout this build process.

Heaven forbid you actually fix the jack so you can use it!

I think the bolts are 10mm, 1.50 pitch.

He doesn't want to actually work on anything. That would mean he may have to put his beer down for a minute.

Yeah, I spent about an hour using progressively bigger pipe wrenches and hammers to no avail on getting the cap off that cylinder. Then I got mad and came in and played Battlefield 3 for the rest of the night.

Hineman, if I wanted to be nagged about my drinking I'd be married. If you're not willing to come clean my house then shush. :P

And thanks on the pitch, Pete. My McMaster Carr book only lists M10 studs in 1.5, so I wanted to double check.

No need to nag. You'll get tired of doing body work to fix drunk bumps eventually. Just keep it off the roads. ;)
