I bought an hx35 and I'm wondering if the oil line will thread in or not ?
Diamond eye 4 inch turbo back, Glowshift boost, egt, oil pressure,hx35 , 3200 rpm spring, full power screw 2 turns, denny T II fuel pin, Home made Cold air intake, Alto reds and tci TC in a 518, 5x12's from diesel auto power.

No. You need an adapter fitting exactly like the one that is on the opposite end of that same line. The oil filter head side. It's flare to something. I picked one of of a 2nd gen oil filter head

If your oil line is still good you can just take the fitting out of the H1C and screw it into the hx35
93 Dodge W250 4X4, Custom air intake, Diamond Eye 4 inch turbo back straight pipe exhaust, HX-35W with Banks upgrades, KDP fixed, Getrag 5 speed, Isspro Tach, pyro, fuel pressure, and boost. Raptor 150, 3200 rpm spring, Power Screw in 1 turn, aftermarket fuel pin

My '89's H1C had the flare fitting machined into it and the HX I picked up did not, hence the need for an adapter. Are there variations out there?

There could be. Mines a 93. I could take a pic of where my oil line connects to the turbo if you need it. My fittings all screw together

Could you have a WH1C? Does the compressor housing attach with a V-band or a big snap ring?

No its a HX35 with the big snap ring. When i had it on my truck all i did was take the oil fitting out of the H1C and put it in the HX35. I ruined the HX35 so now im back to my H1C :(
