One thing I think would be more beneficial than a whole new turbo is different exhaust housings for HE351's. I know this probably too small of a market but they like the 351's and it can just get restrictive on the top end. Now that I think about it, the 3rd Genners might like that.

one can already port the wastegate port on the he351 to help relieve drive pressure, wastegating at reasonable boosts where the turbo is more efficient also beneficial, but too many people do not understand compressor maps and think boost =power when it is a measure of restriction. Flow > Boost.

Wastegated....

My dream turbo for a 1st gen would be a 60/68/9 (but would settle for a 60/65/9) w/g turbo with a larger w/g than the 351 has now. I feel that is the best turbo for the ve pump with stock up to about 55-60lpm injectors..... Now, you can get a bigger turbine for the 351 (65) now and I was looking into manufacturing them. The problem lies with the amount of room with the exhaust housing it has and where the w/g is.

So essentially having a smaller exhaust housing for the super 40... cuz a 16 is just not for me and not what I expect from my truck.

Anything to say about the 351 option?

It would be nice to bolt on a 351cw equivalent with a working wastegate. I can make my 351 wastegate work with some fabbing but as of now (stock injectors) i dont really need it (it would be nice though). When moving up to compounds with the 351cw a working wastegate would be a must i assume?

Nothing to post..... I literally did nothing and bolted it up, I didn't re clock anything. Now the bad side and why I DON'T RECOMMEND this is because it leaves your oil supply and oil drain about 10 degrees off. I did this for no other reason but to see if it will hold up. Well 30k miles later on a turbo with over 200k and it still isn't leaking, nor is it have anymore shaft play in it. So yes, you can have your oil fill and drain a little off from being straight up and down.

Does your IC pipe exit an an odd angle? I've seen a pic of BILIIT's set up, but no others.

Hmmm, good to know. Can you get a pic of the IC pipe? It would be in a different place than mine and i am curious how you made it work.

Maybe i should fab up a WG with the re-clocked setup like mine and start selling them, lol. It is the main issue.
