That wasn't a 4x4 launch was it?

Kids these days

Darwin, a 9.9 sec 1/8 should equal a 15.44 sec 1/4. A 15.44 sec 1/4 at 6550 lbs means you are putting 292-ish hp to the wheels.

I would assume he wasn't burning all 6, but IIRC he does have fairly aggressive tires that won't hook up on the strip.

Judging by the came calculator, I can run a 14.70. We'll see about that

Andy.. my front tires are a smidge shorter than the rears, i am afraid it will scatter my transfer case running on dry
road with two different sized tires.

Caleb i wasn't to excited about the runs, but i did beat a kid in a D-max with exaust, intake, and programer with the 9.9 run, and a kid in
a 2010 stang GT 5spd, with a 10.01 run, so that help my shame a bit.... :D

then i got out ran by a Chrysler 300 hemi  that thing ran a 9.24. so i parked after that.

I know that feeling  I placed above a Dmax (maybe 2?), several 7.3Ls and 6.0Ls, and one VP44 truck on the dyno a while ago. If feels good to surprise people in a farm truck :D

Yeah don't want to spread parts all over the track.

If you ran the equivalent of a 15.44 unboosted you could really shave some time. Im timid with my stock shafts, 285s, and weighing in at 6300. But I went from 14.70 at 90, with a 10psi launch. To a 14.50 at 91, with a 15psi launch.

I hope my shafts keep holding with 15psi launches. Im shooting for 13s

It felt so slow to boost i could have had a sandwich and a coke wating on the darn thing.

Rain altered my plans. Likely would not have cut a very good 60' today. Oh well, I have all summer.

Still haven't made it up to the strip

But I did have this thought... Move the tool box towards the tail gate. That's got to be 200 lbs. I'll have to try that sometime and report back.
