If you drive up to Cheshire, Ohio there's a queer up there that has one laying in his yard. He tore an RC apart and probably won't ever put it back together. If you wait until about 7pm on a Friday or Saturday night he'll be passed out drunk and you can just walk in and grab it. ;)

Maybe I should dress like Bigfoot to. On second thought that may make him try to mate me.

Actually, I've got 3 RC tanks now. :P

A '93 style I'm going to use, and I should have the tank from the '85 and '89. Can't comment on the straps as they're all junk as far as I can tell. =/

Wait, were you talking about me?

Want to get rid of one of those tanks then?

I suppose I could, for an old 1stgen pal. :)

All I can part with is the '85 tank for now, I've got to track down what I did with it. Are you using a diesel tank in your truck?

The lines coming out of the sender are rotted bad. Once I put a rear mounted tank in the front one will come out.

You may be able to get one for the pickup tanks, I bought one from dodge a couple years ago. I was referring to the one for the 85 rc tank before, I got confused with all these numbers floating around lol. That's the one that will be a challenge.

You can't get the truck ones either.

A few years ago I saw a link to a sending unit repair place over on rcc. I'll see if I can dig something up.

I already torched the one from that black '88 D150 I had, but for future reference, would that work? I take it it's not gas/diesel specific.

I don't think so. That 88 had an intank pump? The carb'd trucks have a different mounting flange on the top of the tank. Afaik the carb'd pickups and rc's had different length sender/pickup assemblys.

Well I know the '88 was EFI, but I don't remember a fuel pump being in the frame rail.
